Traveling with Pups...
Our pups are "travel size" and go everywhere with us. They make great travel companions!

Dog items to pack: food, bowls, dog stroller, toys, brush, dematting tool, meds, male wraps or diapers, dog backpacks, booties, vest, portable dog play pen, poop bags, leashes, dog cooling bed, waterproof dog blanket, vaccination papers, tick removal kit, & towel to clean their paws.

When traveling out west our pups get cockleburs stuck to their feet & fur. This dematting tool is amazing at getting them out quickly if your pup happens upon a batch of them.

In the cold, this dog vest is great, and these booties work well.

For short walks or hikes we use dog backpacks & K9 sport sacks to carry them. This harness works great for walking & keeping them in the backpacks.

Some places, like Telluride & Breckinridge CO, allow dogs on the gondolas (in those cases we use the dog stroller). When not in use we store the stroller in this bag which we secure to this ladder mount on the van.

Male wraps or diapers are useful when visiting people or if you stay in a hotel or condo.

To help keep the van clean we keep a boot tray with a wet sponge that we use to clean their paws after walks.

It's best to check for any pet restrictions while planning your trip. The websites BringFido & GoPetFriendly are great resources regarding pet friendly travel.
